“We need to be confident that the equipment we purchase will last so are delighted with the new Kalifornia ES Doors from Pastorfrigor GB - Chris Glover Senior Project Manager”
Project overview
Installed in January 2025, Lincoln Coop on Lincoln Road, Sleaford, is the first of six sites to feature the Kalifornia ES Door remote multideck. Running on CO₂ refrigerant, this energy-efficient system enhances visibility, temperature control, and sustainability, setting the standard for future installations in retail refrigeration.

What did Pastorfrigor install?
Pastorfrigor installed Kalifornia ES Doors with a zero°C evaporating temperature, ensuring efficiency and performance. Designed for convenience stores, they achieve Eco design energy class A-B, the lowest in their category. Featuring a slim footprint, deep shelves, low maintenance hinged doors, canopy and vertical LED lighting, they are manufactured in Europe for quality and sustainability.

What were the results?
The installation delivered a first-class display, enhancing product visibility and accessibility. Low energy bills were achieved through efficient performance and Eco design energy class A-B ratings. Running on green CO₂ refrigerant, the system supports sustainability while providing high-capacity storage and high-quality refrigeration, ensuring optimal temperature control and reliability for the store.
